Travelers’ Night In — The Bucket List!
On this week’s round of Travelers’ Night In, the interactive Twitter discussion for avid travelers and travel lovers, the theme was the Bucket List: all the things in travel we want to do before we die! As always, ten questions were asked, people responded while tagging their tweets #TNI, and learned quite a bit about some new destinations!
Q1. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
artistatlarge Just ONE place? Geesh, so many I have not been to yet … Maybe to the place I was named after – the Kimberley Diamond Mines.

Everywhere. But one destination captivating me the most lately is Sri Lanka.

Or — how about pho for breakfast in Vietnam?

Not a fan of “if you had one week to live” questions (they make me so sad!), but it’s hard to argue with somewhere better than the Seychelles.

And that’s the week!
Travelers’ Night In, founded and organized by the lovely ladies at ZipSetGo, takes place on Thursdays from 3:30-5:00 ET. All are welcome! Follow the #TNI tag to see the questions and conversation!

ROFL @ Vagabond3Live someone with a Immigration fast pass
and
itsmescotty The doctor….
Thanks for these re-caps Kate. They are as much fun as #TNI itself. Love the photos to illustrate your answers. Matera is worth the visit for sure. I didn’t stay in a cave, but that’s only because Mr. Old Spice gets claustrophobic.
“I’m in a cave.”
Yeah, doesn’t have the same ring to it.
Well, I do love a mention, but sadly, that quote you attribute to me is actually a response upon mentioning that I’d seen the Northern Lights. From an airplane, nonetheless. But the quote? Not me.
Fabulous recap…. I missed this week. It is one of my favorite subjects… a bucket list. I learned a few things. Including that my 19yr. old knew about the naked cowboy and i didn’t. Love the idea of slapping his butt and running! Hilarious! Thanks for the recap. I enjoyed it.
Great recap Kate and thanks for the mention! I don’t know what meaning Thursdays would have without #TNI!
Another FAB recap! Loved it!
First off – fantastic images this week. And another enjoyable recap. In fact, this week #TNI made me start to actually and formally write down a bucket list. I expect a blog post about it in September. Maybe for my birthday… my wish list of sorts…
anyways, thanks for including my comment (tweet)
stay adventurous,
Craig
Thanks, Craig! You definitely should!
I *love* the Flickr Creative Commons license…it has made so many people’s blogs so beautiful!
I loooove the idea of racing your sis!
I love this blog! It’s great reading a blog that’s so multi-facted and not a one person rant.
Thanks, Aditi! That’s really nice to hear!
Brilliant post, Kate! I feel I should share with you an amazing course I did while I was in Cairo, Egypt – Sarah Merron of Fire Dragon Coaching teaches strategies that really helped me focus on getting the best out of myself and others around me, for both my work and personal life. She runs courses all over the world, so it’s a fantastic way to combine travel with self improvement. Here’s the link, it’s definitely worth checking out: http://egyptnlptraining.com/
