Monthly Recap

Here we are at the end of the year! I’ve said so much about 2022 in my year-end recap posts that I won’t go on any longer. Let’s just take a look at the month. More than anything, December was all about Christmas — and you’ll see it in the photos. I ended up celebrating

I feel like every year I’m looking forward to the winter until it actually starts to happen. Just as soon as the first real chill sets in and it’s time to transition away from mid-weight peacoats to full-on winter coats, it hits me — can I do a whole season of this? We’re not going

When I last left you in the September recap, I was dealing with my first round of COVID. I’m happy to share that I began testing negative shortly after October began, and only had to miss a few days of my long-planned New Hampshire trip. And the foliage was magical. Seriously, you would think that

May is the most beautiful month of the year in Prague, but this year I took two little side trips, each four days each: one to Calabria, Italy, and one to Reykjavik, Iceland. And the weather was pretty close to perfect in all three destinations. This month also included quite a lot of writing in

After a quiet March, it was time to hit the road again! This month I enjoyed the benefits of living in Europe with easy travel to two different countries: Italy and Germany. Looking back, it’s been so bizarre to arrive in a new country to live in, then to be locked down for so much
